Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 will take place from 4 to 8 May in Antwerp (Belgium), bringing together European and international stakeholders from the hydrogen sector. The event will highlight the role of “Hydrogen Valleys” in connecting hydrogen production, distribution, and end-use, while fostering concrete projects, investment, and regional competitiveness. The programme includes high-level sessions, strategic forums, thematic workshops, and networking opportunities, contributing to accelerating the deployment of clean hydrogen across Europe.

Renewable capacity statistics 2026

IRENA’s “Renewable Capacity Statistics 2026” highlights continued strong growth in global renewable energy. In 2025, renewable power capacity reached a record 5,149 GW, with an annual increase of 692 GW (+15.5%). Solar energy led this expansion, accounting for the majority of new capacity, followed by wind power. Renewables represented around 85% of all new power capacity additions, reinforcing their central role in the global energy transition, although further acceleration is still needed to meet 2030 targets.

Governo declara utilidade pública de projetos de hidrogénio renovável e energia solar em Sines

O Governo declarou de “imprescindível utilidade pública” a implementação de novas infraestruturas associadas à produção de hidrogénio renovável, amoníaco renovável e energia solar na Zona Industrial e Logística de Sines (ZILS), segundo um despacho publicado esta sexta-feira em Diário da República.
