Finland’s organizations to work on hydrogen storage research project

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Geological Survey of Finland GTK and industrial partner organizations have launched a research project Hydrogen UnderGround (HUG), focused on underground storage of hydrogen.

€ 18 million for research on hydrogen infrastructure, storage, and safety

The Netherlands is the second largest hydrogen producer in Europe. Almost all hydrogen now comes from fossil fuels. By 2030, the Netherlands wants to have 4GW of electrolysis capacity.

Acme + Hydrogenious team up on green hydrogen exports from Oman to Europe

More green hydrogen heading to Europe: Indian renewables company Acme and Germany liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHC) firm Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies have signed an MoU to jointly explore the development of hydrogen supply chains from Acme’s Omani plants to hubs in Europe, according to a statement released last week.

Paris-based HysetCo raises nearly €200 million to decarbonize urban transport

HysetCo, a pioneer in hydrogen mobility solutions, announced the closing of a financing round of nearly €200 million to accelerate the decarbonization of urban transport. Hy24 is the leading investor on this funding round including also RAISE Impact and Eiffel Investment Group. Hy24 now becomes the majority shareholder in HysetCo and joins existing shareholders Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, Toyota France and Kouros in supporting the company’s development.
