06.04.2026 >> Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 will take place from 4 to 8 May in Antwerp (Belgium), bringing together European and international stakeholders from the hydrogen sector. The event will highlight the role of “Hydrogen Valleys” in connecting hydrogen production, distribution, and end-use, while fostering concrete projects, investment, and regional competitiveness. The programme includes high-level sessions, strategic forums, thematic workshops, and networking opportunities, contributing to accelerating the deployment of clean hydrogen across Europe. // 06.04.2026 >> IRENA’s “Renewable Capacity Statistics 2026” highlights continued strong growth in global renewable energy. In 2025, renewable power capacity reached a record 5,149 GW, with an annual increase of 692 GW (+15.5%). Solar energy led this expansion, accounting for the majority of new capacity, followed by wind power. Renewables represented around 85% of all new power capacity additions, reinforcing their central role in the global energy transition, although further acceleration is still needed to meet 2030 targets.

Hydrogen is approaching to its end, and not because they have energized electric cars to increase their range fivefold. Actually, they have done that too, but this is just another piece of bad news for the fuel we thought was going to be the fuel of the future. They have just discovered a turquoise one that is coming to take over the mobility of the future and is obtained from clouds and metal.

Hydrogen industry in Canada receives $57 million boost

The government of the Canadian province of Alberta, through Alberta Innovates and Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), has announced $57 million, worth $280 million, in innovation funding for 28 projects to advance the hydrogen economy, reduce emissions and create jobs in Alberta.
