Paris-based HysetCo raises nearly €200 million to decarbonize urban transport
HysetCo, a pioneer in hydrogen mobility solutions, announced the closing of a financing round of nearly €200 million to accelerate the decarbonization of urban transport. Hy24 is the leading investor on this funding round including also RAISE Impact and Eiffel Investment Group. Hy24 now becomes the majority shareholder in HysetCo and joins existing shareholders Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, Toyota France and Kouros in supporting the company’s development.

Apresentação pública do projeto H2tALENT, Primeiro Vale de Hidrogénio Verde
Liderado pelo Campus Sul – Associação Interuniversitária de que fazem parte a Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, a Universidade de Évora e a Universidade do Algarve, em parceria com a GALP e o Laboratório Colaborativo HYLAB, e Coordenado pela Universidade de Évora, o H2tALENT visa criar um ecossistema de inovação centrado no hidrogénio “verde” e no Alentejo. Este é o primeiro Vale de Hidrogénio Verde em Portugal com financiamento e reconhecimento da União Europeia e da Rede Global de Vales de Hidrogénio Verde.

Biden, Japanese prime minister to talk hydrogen production cooperation during summit
When U.S. President Joe Biden hosts Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at a summit in Washington on April 10, renewable energy will be on the agenda. Nikkei Asia reported the two leaders plan to discuss joint efforts to promote hydrogen energy, enhance related supply chains and reduce costs to producers.

Commission approves €350 million
The European Commission has approved, under EU State aid rules, a €350 million German scheme to support the production of renewable hydrogen through the European Hydrogen Bank's “Auctions-as-a-Service” tool. The German measure is in line notably with the objectives of the REPowerEU Plan and the European Green Deal Industrial Plan. It will contribute to further reducing imports of Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition.
