A iniciativa representa um passo importante para o desenvolvimento da infraestrutura nacional de abastecimento de hidrogénio, proporcionando maior segurança jurídica e técnica para a implementação e operação destas instalações.  A AP2H2 incentiva os seus associados, empresas, entidades públicas, centros de investigação e restantes interessados a analisar a proposta e a participar ativamente na consulta pública, contribuindo para um quadro regulamentar que responda aos desafios e oportunidades da economia do hidrogénio.

Linde unveils plans for new hydrogen plant in Germany

Linde has today revealed plans for a new proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser plant in Germany that the company says will produce enough green hydrogen to fuel approximately 600 fuel cell buses a year – and it’s expected be operational in the second half of 2022.

Making hydrogen energy with the common nickel

To resolve the energy crisis and environmental issues, research to move away from fossil fuels and convert to eco-friendly and sustainable hydrogen energy is well underway around the world. Recently, a team of researchers at POSTECH has proposed a way to efficiently produce hydrogen fuel via water-electrolysis using inexpensive and readily available nickel as an electrocatalyst, greenlighting the era of hydrogen economy.

HYDROGEN COUNCIL REACHES 100+ MEMBERS AS HYDROGEN INDUSTRY ENTERS NEXT STAGE OF GROWTH

Brussels, 12 January 2021 – After a year of unprecedented momentum for hydrogen, the Hydrogen Council, a global coalition of CEOs committed to accelerating the energy transition with hydrogen, has today welcomed seventeen new members. Launched by thirteen founding members in 2017, the Council now counts 109 companies from 20+ countries around the world, bringing together an even wider range of sectors along the entire hydrogen value chain.
